A Little Story

I am a longtime journalist turned career coach.

I had a successful career as a writer and an editor at some of the largest media outlets. It was my dream to be a journalist and I worked my way up from intern at Bloomberg News to editor at the Washington Post after more than a decade in the industry covering issues from the financial crisis to international affairs.

Now I want to share some lessons I learned after all this time with others who want advice in this modern labor market. I teach clients how to find direction and fulfillment as well as how to build charisma to tell a powerful story in job interviews and how to negotiate salaries and offers with renewed confidence.

I earned a bachelor of business administration from the University of Michigan and a master of science in journalism from Northwestern University. I am also certified from the International Association of Career Coaches along with the American Copy Editors Society as well as Poynter Institute of Media Studies.
